One may have enjoyed his student’s style in ‘3 Idiots’, now wait to watch him do various roles in director Leemna Yadav's upcoming film ‘Teen Patti’.

R Madhavan is reported to be playing six different avatars in this Amitabh Bachchan-Ben Kingsley starrer flick. Basically he plays a professor in the film, but when he travels to different areas, he takes on different characters, revealed Madhavan.

“There's one with a very suave, high-end party look; then there is one for the low, scum areas. Another one's of a mid-level thug; there is the professor's look of course and all sort of stuff leading to even a Casanova’s and an Italian look,” stated the dimpled actor.

Interestingly, it is first time that Madhavan is featured in a grey kind of character here, playing someone who wants everything instantly in life. He further said, “In Teen Patti, I'm playing a professor who believes he deserves a lot more than what life is offering him at that point of time. He decides to take certain steps which land him in a web of greed, lust and defeat - and how much of a heavy price he pays for those decisions.”

Talking about the film, Madhavan said that it deals largely with mathematics in our lives and youngsters' desire to get anything 'now and today' in no time. Said the actor, “Youth today want everything fast which is kind of an instant gratification and they want to live life on the fast track and that is what is shown in the movie with the magic of mathematics.”

'Teen Patti', which is slated to hit the screens on 26th February, stars Saira Mohan, Raima Sen, newcomers Shraddha Kapoor, Siddharth Kher, Viabhav Talwar and Dhruv Ganesh. The film also features Ajay Devgn, Jackie Shroff, Mahesh Manjrekar, Ranjeet, Shakti Kapoor and Tinnu Anand in cameo roles.
